No this is censored in the published raws too in both niconico and ynjn, you can install any of the 2 apps and check yourself, the only thing the group did was put a lid on the existing black box, they are only uncensored in the volume release

Is like bro, even the jp joke about this black box thing calling it seaweed, there is even a comment in ynjn app that go like, "i should get the volume to see whats behind the seaweed" then the same person comment again "it wasn't worth it"

I certainly support scanlators putting in a bit of work to find decent raws, similar to how I prefer when they use proper fonts and grammar. Used to see people credited as the raw provider back in the day.

People should thank me, because i care about anime and manga, and i always try my best to convince people do not censor art, is fine if i get some shit and trolling back, but at least you have your comics uncut, as the author intended, and not because someone else decide in your place what you can see or not. Comics are a trivial thing, fictional entertainment, sure, but is even from the small things that you should fight for too.

Censorship made by a third party is easily avoidable by going to another third party.
This third party site isn't even the best in terms for accessibility since a single word from Japan and everything's gone.
Imagine if he had put the effort to fight VISA and Mastercard. At least his life wouldn't be wasted by such trivial matters.

Also just a side note, but in my experience the people who pearl clutch over this sort of shit the most are usually the ones who actually have something to hide lol.

Yeah, but sometimes that bit of work finding decent raws is delayed by months between because you have to wait for the volume release, the case here yeah absolutely, the volume is already out and this is the latest chapter in volume 2, so they had a way to get better raws, but in the case this was the latest available chapter, there was nothing to do about the black squares other than waiting months to be able to changes those few pages

This is one of the reason why some groups just release series as they go even with the censor, and then after months when the volume is out, they replace those pages, because there is no better raw at the moment, aside with people being impatient and not being able to wait even with a reason, for example, imagine a volume release every 6 months and you decide to wait, but said serie get sniped 3 months in by someone using shit raws while you're waiting

After reading the comments here, I think the added lids are really the problem. Because they were obviously added by the scanlation team, it made me believe that the black bars were added by them as well. If it has just been the black bar it wouldn't necessarily have crossed my mind that it could have been the scanlator.

But I also agree that if better raws are available, then you should go for them.
