what's this about hosting a demon though? Been a while since the earlier chapters, but maybe it wasn't mentioned yet anyways
Hasn't been brought up until now. Ragna has really only monologued in regards to the Brave Territory, and Alicia -- mostly as compare / contrast to what was portrayed in game, and what is the reality in front of him. He does know about him, as shown in chapter 7, but he doesn't have the demon connection just yet.

I dont know how to feel about her...
I kinda want to see her die in a fight with mc but I also want her entire world to come crashing down around her and have her crash out. She is in the position that want to see her suffer but I also want her to be gone quick

There hasn't been much world building yet. But someone yandere for the villainess who isn't a male lead, that's a little different I guess?

Thanks for the chapter!

There it is, the full reveal of the comically evil reincarnator trope that plagues the villainess genre.

Hopefully the manga doesn't linger too long on them.
Or alternatively the saintess/heroine was evil all along and an enemy agent. It's so tiresome at this point. At the very least we just have a supplanted "heroine" situation and not the actual heroine being evil.

Let's hope she actually has some good motivation for all of this and not just some selfish temper tantrum that the usual wicked heroines have. Maybe her game-self was destined to die in a quite horrid way, maybe related to the demon possessed brother, and she wants to completely derail the story for the "greater good"? But if that was the case, why did she arrange for the og villainess to become the villainess?

Well, whatsoever, as if any of us are here for the plot.

This chapter actually improved my impression of the story.

I don't understand why people seem to suddenly write her off as "comically evil".

Before, I thought it was gonna be the standard "reincarnator aims for a harem without any other goals", but this chapter revealed that there's more depth to her.

There are hints of her having gone though a torturous childhood that may explain, or even justify (at least in her own head), her actions.

I especially liked how she ignores damage to herself.

You don't get to that point simply because you're capable of healing yourself.

As for those complaining about the incest, grow up. It's fine for siblings to tongue each other. I'm pretty sure it's in the bible. /s

is it actual incest? we don't know yet if Patricia was adopted into the family, as the MC doesn't know about her, but clearly knew about his brother.

Awww shit. I was really hopeful for this series, but this revelation scares me into thinking we're not going anywhere interesting. I'm sick of this same "selfish reincarnator becomes the real villain because they're selfish" antagonist trope. The fact that it's also freaky weird isn't saving it.

For those wondering what the reincarnator girl's goal is IIRC the giant barrier protecting the country was made by turning the first Saintess into a living sacrifice. It is sustained by offering up Saintesses and the reincarnator girl's goal is to bring down the country for treating lives as disposable. She isn't gathering the artifacts for herself. She's gathering them to be destroyed/sealed as part of her plan. Also she is a total misandrist who hates men for being incapable of doing anything but listening to the brain downstairs, the capture targets of the game being so easily manipulated by her reinforces this belief.

Feel refreshing thay instead of wanting Reverse Harem and delusioned that the world is her, she is instead,

"If he grow up in this world, it can't be helped." = The world is shitty place in her eyes that a fellow reincarnator who is a mob (like her) being stronger (out of the scenario) is something she understand.

The usually snack bucket heroine-villain are mad if there's other reincarnator that change the story and be different just like her.

"I'll destroy this fate and the world." = I don't care about the Male Leads, the game scenario is bad, and I choose to destroy the narrative

Probably, she certainly doesn't seems like someone obsessed on having guys on her beck and call.

I feel like she can become a good partner later down the lane with the MC, if they can find a compromise around each other goal.
