Yes, I am aware. My point was it's not a great first step compared to her seeking out someone and specifically putting them down. Like, of all the meetings to expect someone to remember, a random guest at a show expecting one of the performers to remember her is wild and to act like she has after is even more so.

I get that we are trying to tell backstory but the whole "Person who acts like a bitch has some sob story background to justify that she is a bitch... is still a bitch" is pretty old. Actions speak louder than 20 pages of backstory.

Dear god, folks the arc is fine, its at a moderate length, its exploring the characters and their backstories, its fine for a narrative to take its time and flesh out its characters, you can't get pay off without set up

Dang, sorry didnt know we couldnt talk about disliking something.

You can do tons of backstory and narrative without having clunky flashbacks that really dont add anything to the story other than 'they met one time, and for some reason i feel she owes me now'.

People can like a story overall and dislike how its playing out in a chapter or arc.

Or you could find more comments to your tastes.
