Instead of being an enemies to lovers romance story which it was during the Lost Ring plot, it turned into a generic pseudo-harem slop after the Fake Dating arc. It feels like the author gets off to NTR / is a cuck but I can't prove it based on a piece of literature. The author literally assassinated every single character except Shise. MC is a no-free-will pushover, Akane is a mega-tsundere for no reason, Himari is a manipulative homewrecking bitch. The LN is already turning to shit, so I have no idea why did the mangaka decided to follow the LN knowing it's ass.

But this is a generic money making manga that will never stray from the core idea of the MC will end up with the designated girl from chapter one even after so much fucking drama
