A shame that the autor really wants to push the harem narrative of "everyone is in love with the mc" but makes it semi-realistic in the sense that every girl is miserable knowing that they have no chance (Like the little sister stopping the mother from saying her feelings towards the mc)

This would work better as a harem but if it's selling well enough to get an anime adaptation then it's probably fine as it is for most people.

I'm just hate reading knowing that every girl but Akane is better, but she just got the winning card and in the game of life that's all that matters~
