probably to hide stuff, like making a hidden weapon or maybe making traps, if not, they would need a lot of foxes to make an actual camo suit ... or maybe one of those foxes killed their dad or someone close to them (as yajin mentions his swift movement more of an adventurer rather than for a blacksmith/designer).Assuming it's the size of an actual real life fox, I wonder how one would use it for gear, & if its even applicable for that like a displacer beast.
THEThere was a long delay for this release while I travelled to Japan to understand the struggles of a mangaka with no aircon in a heatwave.
In this episode, Yajin wastes all the tension he built up in the last episode, and he joins the Mormons.
Wow, so many people who aren't assholes. What kind of magical place is it? That's definitely not an "yajin tensei" world!
Wow, every chapter I'm saying "give him a goddamned break!!" and now that it's finally happened it feels incredibly... wrong?
like what gives, these people are being too nice and accepting and didn't steal his kidneys the instant he passed out, what the actual hell is going on?!
I would also add that the light and shadow game is pretty weak, minus the very lightly use of shadows in sharp angle places like noses, necks, roofs and under clothes, the shadow use of the artist is pretty scarce.
A little bit of ambient occlusion and more bold Illumination would really help the art.
Edit: A quick edit with AI to show how just a little of shadows could help the scene.
Good work, i personaly liked the shading, and i would argue that it inst a disrespect of the original art because seems like a natural evolution of it If the artist worked more/had more time to polish it.I did some testing with the next chapter. Original is top, hand painted shadows are on the bottom. What do you think? I'm not so sure about defacing the work of the original artist, but I did enjoy working on it. I currently have the full chapter translated and finished, and with the extra shading added, but I'm chewing over if I should just keep the original art.

I just dont say "post it without thinking" because i am not familiar with mangadex rules for posting fan edits, i would say to post it like a alt version of the original chapter since some people post uncensored versions of a censores chapter like that, but for most colored or fan colored they usually make a completly new mangadex entry, which is more troublesome and the previous chapters would be missing.
Since i liked it i would go with posting the original and shaded together and see if any staff complains, i dont think it would cause much trouble.
But again, I would like It and dont think its disrespectful since it doesnt chance much, like, when i was playing with It, the AI gave me a versions that was a total style change and would be much more polemic haha, i will attach It.
Idk, I like the flat, matted look of this series. Somehow makes it feel grounded and real to me, like a constant overcast mood to match the luck of Yajin, but I see your pointEdit: A quick edit with AI to show how just a little of shadows could help the scene.
