Revenge porn was only made illegal in Japan last year.

Before then, the only way to prosecute someone for publishing sex tapes is either with defamation or obscene material laws.
That's why, if you censored the subject(s) in the video (which Rio likely did as that's very common practice on Japanese adult sites), you could get away with it.

I checked the official raw, and it says there are 65 chapters in their app (全65話をアプリで見る) instead of the 50 stated in MangaDex. Are those 15 additional chapters the spinoff?

The matter would generally be handled outside of court in a civil action. With the internet there is difficulty in proving who recorded or uploaded what so unless you had slam dunk evidence or admission, the settlements were usually fairly paltry plus as @Nosebleed points out, if you censor faces and genitals (and bleep out names) its even more difficult to prove harm.

No, not really. It's because there are some long chapters, so the author (or editor) cut them in half (i.e., chapter 45.1 and 45.2).

I agree. Like at least Kyouko seems remorseful and tried to help them out (not that I think that’s enough), but Rio was cruel and disgusting. And I don’t care how much of a sob story she got she cheated on her husband with her friend’s husband. It’s the same reason I find Momoka gross too. Did you have to be a married man’s mistress? Be for real. And in Rio’s case, had it been any other man I could’ve felt some sympathy if she has a sad backstory, but it being her friend’s man plus all the crap she pulled make her irredeemable in my eyes.

Funnily enough that's how I translated it at first but because she uses a verb specifically about pushing someone down (usually on the bed, in a sexual way) I ended up going with the more literal translation, but now I'm realizing it can induce some people into thinking he raped her.
