Toujou Papa: MANCING MANIA MANTAAAAAPPP!!!!!! 🎣
Calling it now, lil bro's gonna be a wingman for the both of em on this "non-date".
What do you mean by that part at the end about Ayaka? It does actually take a few chapters before these two make it official.
This chapter (manga chapter 9) ends about halfway through the 5th chapter of the first volume of the light novel. And they don't officially become a couple until the last chapter of the third light novel. The first light novel has 6 chapters, the second has 8 chapters, and the third has 10 chapters. The name of Volume 3, Chapter 9 is "Confession", if that tells you anything.
There's a lot of hemming and hawing, but there's also a fair amount that happens in between, within a short time frame to be honest, since they go from unknowns to dating within about 2 weeks or so. After this chapter, they have a movie date, followed by the petting zoo / water park date, Haruto's grandma suffering heatstroke, Haruto falling ill, Haruto and Ayaka agreeing to be fake boyfriend/girlfriend for Haruto's grandma's sake, various "fake" dating interactions, a BBQ at the Toujou household, even more fake boyfriend/girlfriend interactions (including some couples yoga), and a camping trip.
Shortly afterward, Ayaka makes a move due to circumstances, Haruto bails due to his own circumstances, and they finally meet, talk it out, and agree to date. It's honestly really sweet, and the pacing doesn't seem incredibly forced, even if you're yelling at them the whole time to just to start dating. Its a very vanilla love story and incredibly straightforward, but it's also really cute, and I hope the manga lasts long enough to get to Ayaka's public self-destruction that happens well after they start dating. It's both super rewarding and super hilarious.

When yhlagi dan lagi, when yh
Is this part happen in WN? I can't find this scene on vol 4 of the LNWithout going into details, after the class finds out that they're dating, Ayaka accidently lets it slip that Haruto is actually living with her (after some other plot developments) AND the two of them took a bath together (with Ryouta, and swimsuits were involved). Needless to say, the class reaction was chaotic.
Yeah, it's from the WN. Volumes 1 through 4 of the LN includes everything from the WN up to chapter 105, and the WN is still adding new chapters; it's currently up to 187. I don't know when the next volume of the LN is slated for release. Is this part happen in WN? I can't find this scene on vol 4 of the LN
Ah yes. This scene coming from the best Peak fiction movie

What I got from a Japanese dictionary app, a gas burner (ガスバーナ) in Japanese could refer to a small gas stove, Bunsen burner, or blowtorch. In Japanese Wikipedia, it refers to the Bunsen burner (a mini stove that is usually used for camping and science classes). And, I agree to wait for the next chapter. If the original means a blowtorch, I'll update the translation for this chapter after the next chapter is out. It's possibly a mistranslation. The Japanese Haruto uses is the katakana for "gas burner" 「ガスバーナー」and doing a quick search on Amazon Japan yields this as one of the top results. It's a small handheld torch that's used to sear, roast, and cook food, among other things.
Apparently, broiling certain fish instead of grilling them can be preferred, which might be Haruto's implication here. Seems like it can be prepared either way. Hopefully we'll see exactly how he prepares it in the next chapter. (I can't really recall if it's explicitly mentioned in the web novel or light novel.)
