i'm surprised the author did so much. in world tho, it'd make sense for them to have an outlet for their strength and battle than actually letting a real conflict happen, shame everyone's overprotective of MC, i'd like to see how he'd interact with ppl who wouldn't worship him/be intimidated by all the creatures living with him

Aren't the midwives Ancient Devils? Demons are the civil servant girls and the four heavenly kings.

The devil midwives were there to help with dragon's pregnancy and births, they also were tasked to help with "maid" chores but can't remember if they've been referred as maids but you know how the current LH team in charge of this manga has done a half-assed job all around and leave typos, lack of continuity in the translation from one chapter to the next, etc, etc. Like Axibition next to Exhibition. Or Urza labeled as Dragon (Young). etc, etc.
And this chapter we get
Page 6 in the roster
Bulga and Stiffano were translated as Devils, as has been consistently done for all the previous hundreds of chapters prior to current team taking over, while just below the 5 Midwives were translated as "Demons" despite in Japanese raw both their race is the same "Akuma". Then the rest of the chapter they go back to calling them everyone demons.
And technically IIRC Bulga, Stifano and Gucci are Ancient Devils, while the rest of the midwives are just devils.

The previous translators seemed to be WN readers and have referenced it to keep consistency and continuity. The current team not so much.
