Honestly, this is the best for Gotou. He really needs someone to keep him straight. Akito is too naïvely in love with him to do that and Rei (prez) finds his actions/goofy nature too interesting to course correct him. Agawa is another can of worms who causes most of his problems so having an earnest yet blunt girl as Kume by his side is great. Hopefully they just stay as friends.

Finally we got a character that lays out the facts Gotou needed to hear, even though it hurts his feelings. He needed to understand that his „I love all“ and Agawas „I have sex with anyone because I like it“ are two different views. Bringing shigechi in again was maybe a good choice from takeda this time. She could be the bridge between both lead characters, even though Agawa feels not like anyone anymore. What would be interesting is „what if Agawa followed Gotou after he left the class and heard their conservation ?“.
Next chapters will be interesting if takeda doesn’t spread this to long now. Either on the last day or on the afterparty, we will know what with both them will happen.

Edit: Considering the point Shigechi stayed out towards Agawa, her rejecting Gotou makes more sense now. If something bad happens with the boys she switches for a time being like a safe zone for her. But what if this time the matter is completely something else. In my opinion Agawa searched for Gotou after the break not only for sex but also for something else. During their session she noticed that this time again a potential romance partner slipped again because of her wrong doing (trying to set him up with more sexfriends). After understanding that she apologised, saying pls forget it. One interpretation could be that she catched also some feelings but it was too late and her approach in making him jealous was wrong. To not further mess him up she agreed with herself to take a pause again and distance herself from the thoughts, like always. With Shigechi now in it could evolve in another direction. That is only possible if she will also talk with Agawa and teach Gotou how to understand a girls heart better, besides sexual topics.​

How ironic that the best girl for the MC in a manga subverting rom coms that feature "pure gyarus" (Nagatoro, Sono Lobster Bisque, etc) is precisely the pure gyaru character the manga was subverting.

Honestly, I'm truly convinced that Takeda's sole mission is to make Gotou's life a living hell. Because when you really think about it, every negative thing that's transpired since the end of the summer school arc didn't need to happen.

Let's not forget, it was Agawa-san who told Gotou to go off and make sex friends. And this was after he chose her and she rejected him. So he goes off, he gains confidence from having sex with multiple women. And at this point, this is something that should have been built off of. But instead, the writer decides that he's going to destroy Gotou's confidence by having him not satisfy Agawa-san, the one person he's been simping over this entire time.

Gotou ends up developing ED and then going through a series of events to recognize that the reason he has this ED is because he disappointed Agawa-san, the one person he's been simping over this entire time. Now he finds out that Agawa-san been fucking girls too, which puts him in a depressive state, which honestly, I don't understand why that would put him in a depressive state. But it's revealed that just because he said he likes everyone, he doesn't understand girls.

So the moral of the story is that Gotou can only prosper and have good things happen to him when he's only simping for Agawa-san. But she can go off and have sex with anyone and there's no moral clarity for her. But he has to go through these series of character development moments just to realize that he should have been simping for the one girl who's been having sex with any and everybody this entire time. Make it make sense.

If this was a normal manga world then sure I would be down for what shige is saying but here? In Daredemo? Nah he can easily have prez and Akito and be fine , just give up on agawa but we all know that ain't happening and gotou is about to go through his 17th change as a character while we get nothing from Agawa nor any consequences for like anything she does. She's gonna be able to waltz back in just like she did before after he's changed himself again and he will be all over her
