Her Momma Bear Mode really sells this.
She's obviously strong, just doesn't hog the spotlight and is very much a mother figure - which makes the dynamics between her and other adventurers rather interesting, since we don't really see protagonists like Kachua, much less in these sort of Fantasy Dungeon Power Scaling titles.
But I very much like that she only pulls out the stops when someone's in danger. there's no aura farming (well, not in the 'traditionally seen' sense), or attitude; she just doesn't like others getting hurt.
That coupled with the fact there's an actual built-in drawback mechanic to her power-ups makes this an incredibly balanced power fantasy.
Thanks for your continued TL work on this series. It's already a standout three chapters in, in my mind.
