Im really wondering where the author is taking this, im not saying its bad, but this really going against all the major drama romcom trophes.

theres gonna be a timeskip? Like i can't see a way for Hiromi to end in a predicament where he somehow ends up back in the sharehouse if hes going offical with new girl in a short period of time. like im thinking its either last second she backs out/outside variable to keeps her back in hometown, one of them cheats but i don't think nor want either of them to, or something else.

this has to be a setup for a time skip right? tbc im not saying new girl is bad, its just that the story has solidified that the sharehouse girls are the main interests, i wonder where the author will take this

I wouldn't put it past Anju to blow things up for Hiromi with Nonoka.

And not in a "Hiromi cheats with one of the Five", just that Hiromi, being the "oh so very helpful dumdum" that he is, isn't going to maintain his distance from the Sharehouse Five and will help them out with "things" constantly even after moving out and in with his girlfriend, and eventually Nonoka will get fed up with her boyfriend hanging out with a group of other women and leave him. And if it's not Anju specifically, it'll be at least one of the others that end up pushing Nonoka to her breaking point.

At least, that's my guess based on what we've seen, and Hiromi's personality.

Also also can't wait to find out why Tsubasa seems so "meh" about his return compared to everyone else (I know why but the reveal's gonna be amazing, especially if she woke up the morning after With Regrets and left in shame hiding it from everyone).

Gosh, this is the Sasuga Kei quagmire I've been expecting. Now that he's got 4/5 sharemates chasing him, he gets a long distance girlfriend who will move to Tokyo eventually. And in the meantime, he lives with an ex-gf who is a decade younger than him, menhera Anju, alcoholic Tsubasa... All of them attacking his monogamy. The literal stripper is the safest one!

There's a possibility Nonoka doesn't ever move to Tokyo. Either their LDS blows up, or life gets in the way, or shit goes down in the sharehouse. It's a counting eggs before they hatch situation, and also a pet python in the henhouse situation.

The prognosis is grim.

I give his relationship with Nonoka like 3 more chapters max, and of course it’s going to be her that ends it because he’s completely useless and passive.

If he was trying to move forward properly he’d have at least told Nonoka that he’d dated one of the women in the share house. She has a right to know that.

He never should have moved back in. This break was the perfect time to come clean about breaking the rules by dating Lilli and move out.

Everything else aside, who wants to live with their ex?

oh I know. I know perfectly well why she's seemingly not as jazzed as the others to see him.
I mean what I said in the rest of that comment - that I want the deets on what she thought/said/did the Morning After, and whether she's confided in anyone about it, or if she's just burying it, or if she really did hook up, owned it, and is now "seeing" her kouhai person as some sort of consolation price.

This honestly was... far more peaceful than I expected? No awkwardness or anything, though that may have been the calm before the storm. His time at home ended without all too much drama (glad Mine didn't join the race) - there probably is not a reason for him to return home again.

Gut feeling is that Nonoka will realize his relationship with his housemates are... not exactly just housemates.

We also have the case where Tsubasa having a thing with her coworker, and Lily's classmate may have made advances, curious how those will be handled.

I feel so bad for the MC gf because she is willing to move citys just to be with his partner, but at the same time i feel bad for Anju i see the impact the MC did to her; she learnd to appreciate her self and look for the future.
I think that shes feeling lonly, like the typical thing that you see when your single and seeing your friend/tiktoks have relationships, but i think that feelings are super intense cus seeing MC happy and not choosing her.

I pray for MC to not cheat on his gf, because if he those it hes going to be in the same level as his ex-gf

I think I’ve finally figured out that the MC is actually not a good guy. Not when it really matters anyway. He just moves along with inertia but never ever does things that are difficult and necessary.

The worst examples of this are all of his lies of omission to everyone around him and even himself.

I get now why his last GF looked for someone else, though I don’t agree with her cheating.
