You are correct in that I am adding a opinion as a fact. But that's because I'm not trying to head-canon relationships that weren't shown in the pages of the manga itself. You are correct, we can't say 'it didn't happen', but just because we didn't see it happen, that doesn't mean we can say that it did. ("The absence of evidence, is not the evidence of absence", does not apply.)

As far as the manga depicts, nothing happened.

And again, just because you bathe together naked with someone, aren't the least bit perturbed by either of you being naked in said bath, doesn't automatically mean your are in some kind of relationship. What are we, teenagers with raging hormones that go ape shit just because a bare boob is in full view?? It's perfectly possible for people to have absolutely no reaction to someone of the opposite sex naked before them! It happens in real life in Japanese mixed bathing, and being Japanese themselves, it's probably what the author or artist is depicting, just a average interaction between two people, whom happen to be naked in a bath.

If this is true that the web novel did in fact depict the MC in various relationships with the numerous female characters, then yes, 100% I am entirely wrong about this not being a harem. But I haven't read the web novel, and am basing my opinion entirely on the manga itself. There was no harem in the traditional, or non-traditional 'Japanese dense MC' manner in this manga.

And yes, I have read plenty of harem mangas, it's just one of the tags I actively subscribe to. From the slop, to the pure, to the mature, I've read hundreds of titles. There is MC dense where it's plainly obvious to us, the readers, that a number of females are actively pursuing the MC but he always has some kind of misunderstanding, and then there is this title where the MC shows absolutely no romantic interest at all to anyone except Sakura in the entire run of the manga.

If just the fact that the MC interacts with a number of different female characters, and there is the ever so slight wording which might, might show an inkling of interest towards the MC, then a manga like Ogami Tsumiki to Kinichijou should also be tagged with harem, as the MC there has also interacted with plenty of female characters, some of whom have had very positive views of the MC during and after thier interactions, to the point that a reader could say "Yes, she is romantically interested in him!"
You still have yet to realize, I have never said it did happen. I have said it could have. The only one trying to claim if it did or not, is you. I have said it is not outright said. But in many cases the author did want to say it outright but wasn't allowed to. Or they left hints to point you at a conclusion. Taking not of potential hints the author leaves is part of reading comprehension.
And something I didn't feel the need to point out, the harem tag, the author has the MC as sexually active, yet also put on that tag. That very much points to that yes he is with more than one girl, but its just not the focus.
And yeah turns out that conclusion was correct, based on the WN.

Also no one will take you seriously if you have leave hysterics like that out of no where "
raging hormones
craziness. You clearly never have been to Japan. And know very little about mixed bathing. Mixed baths are pretty much entirely dead, and have been for a few generation. The only ones who go in are elderly, men or families in reserved baths. You will not see a single women in there that isn't ether related to you, or 60+. And current generations are generally too embarrassed to go into them. Even when they were more in use, people still react, avert their eyes, blush a bit. We are not talking some straw man of them being raging monkeys. We are talking about being a normal man, if a girl you are close to is naked, your eyes will get drawn to them, there is curiosity, so men will glance and then stop themselves and avert their gaze. Their is uncertainty of making sure you don't offend. Him not reacting at all would typically mean he has already seen her naked quite a bit enough that he isn't curious any more. That he has no worry about her getting mad at him looking to much. That level of relaxed is that of no ambiguity in their relationship, no mixed signals. That screams couple, not two close friends.

And thus did the illustrated saga of the Housefucker come to an end.

Honestly, the ending makes me want to check out the books, just to see how much dumber this can get.

Wow, that's definitely an ending of all time. Ngl didn't expect it'd be sudden but wow absolutely nothing led to that sudden ending.

You clearly don't get how harems are.

There does not need to be a significant relationship between the characters to count as a harem, just being "close-ish friends" is where the harem part gets added.

The reason its' this bad is not because they don't eventually get proper relationships,it's because they NEVER got them,or the comic ends before it can.

Proper endings after two volumes, cancelations, scanlators having completely vanished for years, nearly a decade on end, fully intended advertising material for a novel, the vast majority before the massacre was this reality.

Only the comics with well over 300 chapters(give or take 150 chapters based off of page density)do harems actually get resolved in their fullest with proper developments.

Some that end at 100+ or 200+ chapters with between 20 to 30 page density tend to simply bluntly chop off the harem members from any success, the built just to lose heroines/heroes,then show the main love interest take it all.

The major exceptions are high end erotic tier comics, everyone gets laid, which is way more of a win then could be hoped for,and multi-choice stories, usually visual novels, where there's a route available for most of the cast, albeit only one would be cannon.

So the real traditional harem is a bunch of girls who will never succeed and one who always will due to virtue of being the first, which is why most harem stories are railroad predictions, very, very, very few ever mix that up,and more actually take the effort to shatter the mould entirely for new perspectives.

This comic we're currently on is a harem, because clearly the other lasses have bared their asses to our stiff log gentleman, and the house spirit is the clear winner, more so after being the only one who got laid.

As for the comic you're talking 'bout...can't really say either way, considering what's left of its' corpse.

An example that somewhat matches what this comic is "Kanan-sama Is Easy As Hell!",which like most, the main protagonist only has eyes for the main love interest despite how much bodily fluids get infused into his skin and how kind he is to other females.

In fact, most of these start simply because the main protagonist is a helpful, kind fella.

If his house flies around, will the princess be able to instantly visit, since the coordinates will constantly change?

He sexed his house but not his cute dragon with built in handles. Sad to see it go.

After 180 chapters or so, they are finally showing them together. Horay!

seeing this suddenly get an end after forgetting about it years ago & seeing an ending like that really makes me feel like the publisher had the same experience I just did: the sudden realization of "wait, this garbage is still going?" (but they had the power to do something about it :pacman: )

Talk about increasing your property value.
He knocked it up so much that it became a Miyazaki film.
Guess he decided he didn’t need to put down his roots with his sky high attitude.
I regret none of those jokes.

The WN ends with the meal with the two dragon kings. It doesn't have the floating house which might be in the LN.
Check the source. The ending matches the manga. For some reason they don't translate the last three chapters on syosetu. Here's an excerpt translated using an llm.
"Huh?"

For some reason, the surroundings were empty.

"What?!"

I synchronized again and checked the surrounding geography.

The result was the same.

My house, together with the surrounding apple orchards, gardens, forest areas, hot springs, dungeons, and all the rest of the land,

"I-it's floating in the sky?!"

And beside me, Sakura, her cheeks flushed and her belly held with both hands, smiled sheepishly and said,

"Yes. You embraced me so passionately, my lord, that I felt like I was ascending to heaven, so it sort of happened... or rather, we floated up."

That was what she said.

Huh. I figured Hesti would have laid an egg and at least one of the princesses would have an heir before this finished.
