Thank you for your work. This has been one of my favorite stories for a long time now. I'll be following your translation from now on. It had actually been a couple years since I read this because at some point it was dropped by the original translator and I got tired of checking to see if it was picked up again. Very glad to see it was, by someone who actually cares to put out a quality translation. That being said, this was one devastating cliffhanger lol. Can't wait for the next chapter

The only reason Baili Jin didnt found her before was because that witch took her memories, otherwise they would had met in Muxi every life. Also, regardless of what happen to them, i really hope that witch is punished somehow. That damn tree should take all of Baili Jin powers and turn her into a normal human at least so she can spend the rest of her life with Muxi.

Baili is a flower spirit remember? If she lost her cultivation she'd probs revert to a flower.
(Plus even if she did become mortal that'd just mean they'd both eventually die and be reincarnated again with nothing to assure they meet again or remember each other (with them meeting again getting increasingly less likely each reincarnation (on top of the chances already being abysmal without the blood spirit connection) what with civilisation getting more advanced, possibly becoming multi-planetary or multi-solar, etc and population growing continously larger.))
