proof of her being worthy to take the crownI don't get it, what are they fighting for again?
author must've realized they enjoyed worldbuilding and seemingly shifted genre a bit, as y'do sometimes.Did the manga change? Because I don't remember reading a manga about a world ruled by women, I remember it was Virgin Knight: I Became the frontier lord in a World Ruled by women.
Where the hell is the MC? It's been a few chapters since I last saw a glimpse of him, maybe the author forgot about him.
Do you enjoy pretty women with huge breasts absolutely gutting each other? Cause I feel like the author didIt doesn't have to be huge or even the comedy angle, but give me something significant as for why I'd read this series specifically.
There's a bit in page 5 I supposed, top panelI came here for ecchi
There was no ecchi
I did not came
Dropped
The death of Kentaro Miura really changed this whole series direction huh? We are just doing Berserk, and that’s fine but it’s not what this series set up in chapter 1. This was clearly a comedy, until it wasn’t
This manga's direction has been shown since chapter 3 and darker stuff in general since chapter 1 (slavery).Man, I forgot about this series and then got some whiplash. Umm, reading through the comments it does seem like the author (be it the WN or this Manga or whatever) could've done a better job establishing the tone from the start. I'm not even really sure how you connect the first chapter and this one. And yeah sure, stuff happens and series aren't all one thing, but also it's only been 12 chapters and people are clearly having difficulty following the plot, story, and characters: that's not good. It's not the job of ANY reader to explain what is even happening to other readers. It's not that some people get it and others don't; it's that this many people are confused at all. Really a good writer doesn't want any readers to not be able to follow what's happening or to feel like they are reading a different story.
I for one like both the violence abd the sex comedy, so either or both is fine.I like that the general reactions to this chapter seem to be divided into two categories. "What the hell is going on? What happened to my raunchy sex comedy?" and "Finally, we can get past the sex comedy and into the serious stuff". The second of which is a bit more baffling because how did you get past the early stuff and into the later stuff if you're not into the primary hook?
I think mangaka was trying to draw mc catching a crossbow bolt with his teeth there.Crossbow's piercing power seems to jump a bit here and there, barely piercing one cheek in chapter 9 and piercing armor now.

More than the chapters, it's more likely that the amount of time separating the chapters that make people forgot.
Right, I can kinda see it. Thanks.I think mangaka was trying to draw mc catching a crossbow bolt with his teeth there.
they can't have him everywhere he solves problems too fastDid the manga change? Because I don't remember reading a manga about a world ruled by women, I remember it was Virgin Knight: I Became the frontier lord in a World Ruled by women.

I don't think you know what you're talking about? This is an adaptation of an existing work, the change in tone was there from the startThe death of Kentaro Miura really changed this whole series direction huh? We are just doing Berserk, and that’s fine but it’s not what this series set up in chapter 1. This was clearly a comedy, until it wasn’t
If you believe in Valhalla the only requirement is dying in battle with a weapon in your hand, this is why I find the idea of people actually believing in the Norse religion laughable, if you truly believe you can get to paradise by dying in battle why are you still alive? Why aren't you waging constant war trying to die in battle? I am friends with a neo-pagan who supposedly believes in the Norse religion and she just side stepped the question, it isn't like there aren't wars to go sign up for, go to Ukraine or the middle east. You don't even have to be on the "good side" according to that religion every SS officer that died in battle is in Valhalla.
I'm using their actions (or in this case lack thereof) to debunk their beliefs. Also this argument of whether or not to judge people of the past by modern standards or not is stupid because I have yet to find someone that chooses to argue one side and then actually stay consistent with that belief when more than just a narrow slice of history gets talked about. I have no reason to believe you'd be any different in that respect so forgive me but I'm just going to disregard you completely on that. No, not really. You reached Valhalla by being chosen, it wasn't some sort of automatic on-off condition. Now, Folkvangr maybe...
Regardless, it is childish and stupid to apply modern morals to past cultures and try to use our definitions to "debunk" their beliefs. They had their own values of evil, Helheim and Naströnd were both afterlives and Hel was not the punishment.
I'm not saying to not consider their way of life in the past bad, I'm saying that trying to debunk those views from our modern perspective is silly. I'm not going to assume what that neopagan friend you mentioned believes, it's likely some nonsense imo, but norse faiths were not unified or consistent across the entirety of scandinavia even at any one time. They were local and varied and only some of them considered Valhalla as their goal or as desireable.I'm using their actions (or in this case lack thereof) to debunk their beliefs.
