It's okay (in a heartwarming way), but if you want another "okay" manga like this— with 100+ more chapters than this one— then just go to "Isekai Izakaya Nobu". I'll admit there's more to the characters here right now than Nobu built up in its starting chapters, but Nobu is now able to let the readers enjoy the slow burn.

What will this manga do when they hit chapter 20? Will they continue introducing one-off characters to the story, or will they add some regulars who can be flushed out more? I wish this author (and the team translating and fixing this manga up for us "Privateers"— or English-speaking pirates) all the best in this manga's run, but I've got enough quaint-feels series to not need another one my library.

The first few comments are not a vibe. It's really nice, reminds me of Frontier Old Man.
This story relies on some implication, they don't spell it out. Being upset that it's isekai is bias, and upset that it'll be like Food Wars is a bias too. Story mostly relies on: 1. security from fond food they had in the past, even if it's potatoes or steamed eggs 2. trying new things as a lesson for oneself on their perception of the world.
