I will never get used to "anti" being involved with manga and anime. Asians have a completely different sensibility. They didn't go through the pedo-panic that invested the EU and USA between the mid '90s and for all the years 2000. They retain that pre-pedopanic mindset inwhich naked kids are not a big deal, and childish nudity was considered asexual and innocent.
So loli characters, lolicons, moe, are things deeply embedded in the anime/manga industry and the otaku culture.
Anti cannot be genuine anime/manga fans.

The problem is that its not just loli/shota content. Its all "underage" characters seen in any sexual light, which is literally over 80% of manga. Even most seinen and josei manga take place in middle/high school with characters aged 13-17.
