I can't get over how aggressively Goat-coded the Goat Girl is. Her name is onomatopoeia for goat sounds, she snores like a goat, she walks on nearly vertical cliff faces, rolls her jaw side to side, has those eyes, and constantly butts heads with people.

That's not coded, that's just a goat.

If you look closely, you notice all the locations in the story are named after pastries.
The East capital they meet Mao in was named ‘Eclair’
The North capital they meet Mie in was called ‘Nusstorte’

I guess to fit the fairytale feeling of the story
