sad for kento dad and feelsbad for nitta, he wanted to ask her out to date dinner, but his friends interrupted him
Love these difference summaries always. Thanks for providing this."Yuika is far too good", if only that old man knew the truth...
The exchange about a child, is because Kento tricked her into thinking she's undead, and undead can't have children.
Anyway, thanks for the translation Cerezeth!
Changes from the web novel:
We've finished the "Ordeal" stage of Kento's Hero's Journey.
- The house visit scene continued for longer, they had tea and cookies together with Manon’s family, the familiars came out.
- Kento asked Amanda to prepare for the party, she got upset about being expected to entertain the Lord of Volzard at short notice and Kento pretended not to hear. Then Kento went to Klaus’s home and flirted with Beatrice to annoy him while inviting them to the party. He also had a moment inviting Yuika while she was with the teens working at the stables (cut filler subplot).
- There was no Dame Furide (the chick asked out) in the web novel, so her scene here is by mangaka. Nitta and his friend were basically incels originally, so this is a step up from from ‘begging the guild receptionist to show her tits’. The Nitta/Furide subplot builds on themes of the main plot, check back to chapter 21 if you struggle to remember her.
MC not killing the princess because she is the only competent ruler for her country. killing her will cause innocent being killed by monster, and war.OK...let's say killing the princess is not an option because the MC is a typical bland cookiecutter goodie two shoes Japanese MC on that department.
But does he have to hold heal and console the person whose actions led to the murder of many children and his own mother's suicide?...
I mean...come on...
Also, healing her is kinda important in this moment since there’s a massive invasion on its way and if she can’t even stand, then a lot of people are going to die, which is the exact scenario he’s trying to avoidMC not killing the princess because she is the only competent ruler for her country. killing her will cause innocent being killed by monster, and war.
if he kill her, he as same as her, killing innocent for own selfish benefits. he do want to let her dies but innocent will also affected and he doesn't want that on his conscience.
MC is middle schooler, easily to say just kill her when normal child not just casually kill people.it japanese mentally but he also a child.
plus, she not afraid of dying, she afraid not able to save her people. if killing her could save her people, she would do that. that why MC hesitate.
yep, I would say Manon played a huuuuge part on that, boy is growing after getting to see his intestines in the open, also he was stern with the princess but still helped her so she could lead her people. He looks stronger after have cried.. good. he did NEED that for sure.
thanks for the extra info to compliment the manga, much appreciated"Yuika is far too good", if only that old man knew the truth...
