Being an idol isn't exactly known for being a long-term and stable job. Showbiz in general is far from stable, and we've seen through the entire manga how it keeps uprooting and disrupting her life. So the idea that she might pursue a different career in the long run is valid.

Fantasizing about her future career paths while she isn't there is kinda creepy though, yes. But... well, Japan and its idol culture.

As for judging his friends... well first of all, it comes from an ostensibly good place (and he's not wrong that money and connections are important) of helping his friends be able to find partners in the adult world. But it's also a straight-up joke. You're supposed to point and laugh rather than take him seriously.

Especially since we're told how following his own advice will (supposedly) backfire on him. Compared to everyone else who either has a GF or someone the story is setting them up with.
