Same, probably the chief is trying to play the longer game by gaining the demon king's trust so they wouldn't sus her out anytime soon, though it kinda feels bad if she's using Masatora and co. as a bargaining chip to make her less suspiciousI still won't believe the chief is a traitor. If all of them are really traitors, then sensei will not let Masatora and friends to meet her. No way that sensei could be tricked by the facade.
I mean, there's still sister Angel, who probably won't take nicely to the prospect of losing her Nii-chan again. What, realistically, can be done here that doesn’t result in the villains’ complete victory? An asspull, I know, but there is essentially nothing that can be done anymore and the author has written himself into a corner that leads directly to the protagonists never being allowed to be together and probably the death of the male MC and the eternal slavery of the female MC.
The villain this time is supposedly far more powerful than any being currently in existence and nobody could stop her. I fail to see how anything other than this new faction completely succeeds is even possible.I mean, there's still sister Angel, who probably won't take nicely to the prospect of losing her Nii-chan again.
And maybe her (their?) father.
Could it be that the Hell will get more than it bargained for?
We don't know how strong angels are right now. They could be much stronger than the demons and the only reason that they never attacked might be that the angels always desire peace. The villain this time is supposedly far more powerful than any being currently in existence and nobody could stop her. This is just misery porn now.
