Everyone talking about oranges, yet oranges are my most hated food ever.

They legit make me gag in disgust whenever I try to eat them. Something about their plastic-like texture triggers some gag reflex in me.

I think you're not using fresh oranges or there's something wrong with the process you are using.

Some defective oranges can have a weird mushy/fiber-y texture, but plastic is not a word I'd use to describe it...
