FCK, this was an interesting, albeit kind of aimless manga, with a very slow release i can see why it was cancelled.

Yeah it needed to move a little bit faster with some subplots, or if it was to be a "gag gadget of the week" manga the releases needed to be much much faster

Hopefully when they say "for now" it means they plan to bring this manga back or make a series in the same universe. I was already theory crafting that the half elf girls dad is the person she calls grandpa, and that gramps is actually from another world. The mom memory mystery too has me wondering

And in a lot of civilisations that could have got it through long range commercial roads it wasn't known and used, that's as simple as that.

And TBH we don't know the exact reason why but I think it might not always be just hastily cut off because of lack of popularity like in the old days of paper magazine that they had to compete for a very limited space.
