She just started to stay with him because of the Miyabi incident. You better remember Hizumi has extreme issues with abandonment and cheating (the hateful memories, her pondering if Shinba wouldn't cheat on her in the beach chapters had a suspiciously dark panel.

Shinba showed balls and decided to stick with Hizumi who, as much of a wicked sharp tongue she may have, she stood by his side and was able to bear with his cesspool of fatal flaws despite of him being a useless human abortion.

Good for them. All of them, really. Everything got laid out bare, and while Miyabi lost her chance with Shinba, she at least didn't lose her best friend in the process. Also the fact that Hizumi's normally stoic demeanor was broken so hard by Shinba choosing her for each and every question, you just love to see it.
