I don’t even know why ueno jumped the gun and asked this girl out tbh
genuinely, who didn't see this coming?who'd have seen this shit coming lol
What’s the best case scenario? Ueno pops his cherry under duress 10 minutes after kissing his bully? How romantic… what a beautiful experience right? And all with a girl where neither one feels anything when they kiss? Hot … garbage.
(one of) their problems is that they are conflating being a masochist with enjoying it when they’re being mistreated by someone.
Normally the person doing it would be someone they love and trust, and they are willingly giving up control in an environment of safety.
What these two got was full of malice and lacking consent or consideration. It’s just abuse they were programmed to enjoy.
They need to break up and stop hurting each other. They’re not ready for this at all and should have known better than to attempt this in the first place.
These are two broken, vulnerable people who aren't ready to be in a relationship and who will only end up hurting each other even more. They are victims licking each other's wounds and seeking solace in one another. They could become more but this is not the right time, and if doesn't end up happening, well, life is full of situations that could've panned out differently at a different time.
They are convinced they are masochists because they got pure trauma beaten into them. Chisaki winning would be too much of a reward for her, when she's the one who abused him in the first place. She shows zero remorse for making him that way, still shifting the blame on him and is especially toxic, unlike Tsubomi who's honestly the best candidate at this point. Tsubomi knows Ueno's vulnerable state, knows what she did was bad and shows remorse, and has the empathy and the most emotional stability to help him through it and to not exploit his vulnerability.
First you work on yourself. THEN you go and put yourself into power play situations.
I'd say any type of sex is about understanding each other.
I don’t think they’re anywhere close to loving each other at this early stage. When they got together, they had mutual respect and friendship… physical attraction? Maybe?I still don't think breakup is on the cards yet, if anything, breaking up now will hurt them more because they do love each other, they just need to believe in one another.
And I am hoping for at least 10 to 20 more chapters for a clean ending if there won't be anymore new arcs. But in truth there is more to be told with Ueno and Tsubomi as it seems they are similar characters but one was being bullying the other, and there family background could be brought up to further show that sideI don’t think they’re anywhere close to loving each other at this early stage. Where do you think Manaka’s feelings are for Ueno now though? Let’s be honest about the words she’s used and their implied tone since she caught Ueno in that kiss. There’s borderline disdain here as she’s gathering information about just how much she’s been betrayed and lied to, which she already has a bad history with from her asshole ex. She has lost the respect she had for Ueno. This trip to the hotel was basically the embodiment of the sunk cost fallacy to me. Who could possibly be turned on with all that going on in their head anyway?
I can’t imagine how angry she must be at the bullies as well, and not just regarding how they abused Ueno. They approached her only because she and Ueno had a budding friendship. She was being used as leverage against Ueno, meaning that she unknowingly made his abuse even worse. Every time they hung out, the bullies had an agenda behind it, and had an internal sense of superiority over Moka because they already “owned” the guy she was growing closer to. It’s completely disgusting. If she doesn’t cut ties with them I’ll lose all respect for Moka. There is no apology that can repair what they’ve done.
Heavily disagree there, Moka clearly still cares about Ueno, if anything they have a deeper understanding. She has lost the respect she had for Ueno. Yea, I don't see Moka staying friends with them, that much I'm certain about. If she doesn’t cut ties with them I’ll lose all respect for Moka. There is no apology that can repair what they’ve done.
Hmm, I honestly don't think Ueno and Tsubomi have anything further to explore? Tsubomi is just atoning now, not much else needs to be shown there, I think we could get atleast another 20 chapters but not many more after that, as for the ending there's really only three endings in my mind.I understand

Or the dark horse ending where Ueno ends up with Moka’s sister? jkjkjk she’s like a 10 and he’s a 3 at best. I just like her because she’s never looked down on Ueno.Heavily disagree there, Moka clearly still cares about Ueno, if anything they have a deeper understanding.

1. Ueno and Moka stay together, work out their issues
2. Ueno and Moka have a mutual breakup but stay friends and still look to improve themselves.
3. Ueno and Moka have a mutual breakup, stay friends and Chisaki confesses to Ueno and Ueno accepts her even (themes and such.)
I'm really not a big fan of the possibility that Ueno might end up with Chisaki, I think it's a slim chance because of how positive these last few chapters have been but Ueno and Chisaki have yet to have a conversation, even so I don't like the idea of Ueno ending up with Chisaki, certainly not when she's shifting the blame onto him for her sexually bullying him.
I'd be much happier if Ueno stayed with Moka, ended up with Tsubomi or just remains single if he and Moka do breakup, there's not a single world where Chisaki deserves to be with Ueno right now.
They not gonna date noway unless this is harem route Manga.Ok that was painfull to read, and from here and only see two options.1) Ueno and Manaka break up and remain friends 2) They keep dating but under some kind of open relationship where the can seek intimacy with other people, which drives my perverted mind to imagine an scenario where manaka starts having threesomes with Ueno and each one of the bullies taking turns.
