I know it's supposed to be a massive loss. We got introduced to a normal spirit sorceress at the start who basically lost all of her power after she got laid.

I'm guessing Tinassha got nerfed from "World's Strongest" to "on par with the other witches." So she's dropped from untouchable to challengable.

But she also has an Oscar on her side, and Oscar is not to be fucked with.

only way to get Oscar was by doing a sneak attack, Tinasha is still one of the strongest and Oscar is pretty much the strongest anti mage being on existence, lady there really testing her luck

Oscar apparently has great magic, and also has some kind of relation with the Witch of Silence who cursed him, so how are they connected?

The witch of Silence is actually Oscar's grandmother.

After Oscar's mother died (which is a whooooole other plotline), Witch of Silence got pissed and that's why Oscar was cursed
