I... think you misread what I wrote? I wrote that Second's girls (the blond archer and the beastgirl) will take on (as 'in a fight') the 2 elven disciples. Not that "Second should take the 2 elves as his disciples".

The whole reason why he even got involved in the civil war was that he had to make sure that the title match was happening. If they were not participants, I would imagine the result would be different. If anything, it just shows that MC is level-headed and extremely logical, like how he has been depicted this entire time. He never once went on a killing spree simply because someone pissed him off. Even during the civil war, he didn't kill people unless it was necessary.

To get title you need to defeat the old man, not other participants. Well, maybe them too, but the main objective is to defeat current title holder.

No, the beyond hopeless not that they are uneducatable, rather that MC didn't do anything.
That bitch almost killed his subordinate, but he didn't do anything, even didn't called guards to arrest her.
But in 77th chapter he killed an army, in 79th he cut arms of the knight, in 80th he arrested culprits.

Not even close, I think this is volume 5 of the LN and there are 10 volumes right now and it’s still ongoing. He’s only participating in 3 title matches this time and iirc there are 18 in total.

IIRC current Title Holders are seeded directly into Finals. Challengers fight each other and then the final challenger gets to challenge the title holder.
