You can tell Igarashi's fond of the boxcutter lovers. And Seika + Etsurou. I don't think they're going away, so hopefully you remember or reread the start of the Dominant crossover.

As always I organized these in a superficial order where it felt the themes flowed. Some are missing context, for example Sayori and Mizuki being blinded by the purity of Mia x Yamabe when their arc concluded. But by placing that after the Dominant cast were smited by Yamabe (which was part of a mini April Fools crossover) I think it preserved the meaning? Basically I'm trying to be fancily nonchalant instead of inserting TL notes everywhere.

Yes Lucille is a Walking Dead reference.

okay yeah I'm not all the way through it yet but this couple is incredible and I'm so glad Igarashi-sensei decided to "[make] it violent" with Arisaku after all.

I had fun deciding where to put that one, especially with how the reader's eye will naturally be lower for the text at the bottom of the first page only to catch onto the striking red of the boxcutter and then leap up to Sayori and Mizuki's red eyes/mouth.

That composition is fantastic and portrays everything about the pairing. Shoulder to shoulder, united in facing out at the world, Sayori's eyes packed with bitter judgment yet silent while Mizuki has no eyes to see but plenty mouth to run. Mizuki even being the one whose hand overlaps Sayori's, suggesting she's the one who guides them forward. Their heads engulfed in darkness shaded like a bucket of paint dumped over them, in contrast to their pristine clothes that belie a sense of innocence they've twisted out of. The blood on the boxcutter not dripping but stable and clean—pointed toward Mizuki to signify Sayori's slight edge over her behind it all. Such great characters, such a great artist.

I sympathize with the author on the unofficial translation thing but I never would have bought this manga in a language I can't even read if I couldn't read the unofficial translations. I wouldn't know this existed too.

Anyways buy all 3 volumes, like I did :3, on bookwalker or something <3

Glad you brought this up. Not many realize volume covers are commonly designed by an independent artist, who helps with composition before the mangaka illustrates. The mangaka does have a say in it of course, and sometimes they'll post unused cover drafts. But in this case Igarashi was simply poking fun at it from the characters' perspective. The funny part is: Igarashi deleted those posts shortly after. I think she saw them as potentially insensitive to the cover designer.
