I ended up reading this chapter completely by chance after I’d given up on this manga once the plot clearly turned into one of those cheap hentai with randomly thrown-in themes like "rape" and "blackmail" and it seems to be going exactly has i predicted: the manga should have ended after the the MC and Yukishiro gets together, while Hanabi moves on with her life and decides to grow up, but the author clearly didn't want to end his/her novel because it was probably selling well, so he/she didn't want to give up that source of income away and carried on this story with "drama" and "misery porn" without having the slightest idea of what he/she was doing.
The result of all of this is that the resolution of this situation (which clearly seems to have come straight out of a low-quality hentai, but maybe is even worse than those things if we considered all that happened) can't be anything but comical.
My suspension of disbelief had already flown out the window when Hanabi, going against the character that had previously been given to us, apparently sent a video to her fake boyfriend (something that was literally added at that point of the manga for the sole purpose of kicking off this cheap drama and dragging the story out) for no reason at all that besides making fun of the MC, which might even have been reasonable in a way in the story, except that this has left her completely vulnerable to any sort of blackmail, thus contradicting the way she acted at the beginning of the novel/manga and the way her character had been constructed.
Then there's the blackmail thing itself which is ridiculous: not only Hanabi could have gotten out of that situation in a thousand of different ways, but, if we focus on her character, Hanabi, even after everything that happened with the MC has always been a character who was able to respond to the problems she had, to face those problems directly and, in particular, was able to control or dominate people and make them do whatever she set her mind to do. All of this characterization is discarded and thrown into the trash once the author clearly remained with zero ideas on how to continue this story and made Hanabi's character powerless to everything around her in order to drag the "drama" further, hoping that the readers would buy this shit.
The most hilarious thing above all is that the author acknowledged that this whole thing per se is dumb and doesn't make any sense literally in this chapter, the confrontation with the male student who became the "new antagonist" of this manga is one of the dumbest thing this author pull out of his ass, his whole plan got deconstructed in two seconds by Yukishiro, making clear that this new FMC and Hanabi seems to have exchanged brains and personality after the whole switch in the plot (you seriously want make your readers believe that Yukishiro, YUKISHIRO was able to came out with this solution while HANABI couldn't do it? Am i suppose to forget about the whole first part of the manga/novel in order to believe this crap?).
To conclude this pile of crappy nonsense we have the MC, who in one chapter gets raped for drama by another nonsensical and comically evil character, and in the other is able to literally teleport himself into the scene (without 0 explanation) to save the situation. I really want to know if any of you guys who still read this series are still invested with this story which clearly jumped the shark a long time ago, or if you are continuing to read this because of the time invested or cause you want to see some kind of satisfying resolution (which i doubt will happen in any way)
