"Downer" huh? How?
As in she wears dark clothes, is calm, doesn't bother keepin' it fake to match the mood, and is a little too cool for whatever's happening around her, which gets translated as "downer" because it's literally ダウナー系 or daunaa-kei in japanese, with the etymology taking many, many steps to basically imply they have the personality of someone "on downers" or has that effect on the atmosphere or people around them.

Or at least that's my read on a subculture/style that I find very hard to translate to american culture because it's too shallow to line up with equivalents like "moody artist" or "poetic goth girl" or something. Somebody please come do a better job.

So we are getting Behind the supermarket with less age gap, huh?
:pepehmm:

Also…
\> Calls his childhood friend a scatterbrain.
\> Can’t get the hint when the hottie does one of the most common tropes of romance manga.
:haa:

Tawawa on Monday,
Kuudere on Friday.
That Kuudere being quite the tawawa, though…

The fact that she figures reporting a coworker/boss for being a creeper would just result in losing her job with a resigned shrug of "oh well, it's the way it is" is so depressing. I know shit work envinronments are everywhere, but I always hate the way Japan just sort of acceptingly normalizes all the garbage that their corporate workplace culture heaps on people when it's not that hard to try and initiate change.
