It's funny how Rin is genuinely baffled that neither of them think "make it a competition" is a good idea.

I'm also curious how this is gonna go now, because that was pretty clearly Itsumi breaking under the stress and Kurohime seems like she absolutely does not like that suggestion either (which makes sense) while Rin seems half confused half upset. But I'm not sure how much of their facial expressions I should attribute to Itsumi's suggestion vs the argument they were having, for all I know Kurohime looking upset is entirely because of everything preceding.

Either way, my current guess is that this will work out, whether rn or after some small drama, but that it'll probably stop at a throuple. It's not impossible given the original premise that it'll end up as an actual harem but rn I'm really not seeing it.

Pretty unpopular opinion, as much as I see with the reacts to other comments, but I do not like it, Really wanted Itsumi to grow some backbone and stick to her choice, that being Rin, but in the end she once again bent and tried to run away from serious decision after more pressure appeared. And with all the talks both Rin and Kurohime had it definitely smells of poly route, even if they will bonk Itsumi next chapter initially.
I know I will still love the work and insanity it will bring, but just for this chapter, I don't like the progression made. Otsukaresama deshita Asterist!

Honestly, by design its a mess and basically an harem, but even still, i loved the idea of Itsumi having Rin and also thought she was a great choice. Their balance and past was just perfect for it. So, personally, im not pleased with this development. Shirashiro might be a mildly interesting character but she has side character written all over her. Also, im aware its senseless to expect logic in the story, obviously, but disregarding the competitive side of Rin shown here, neither of them are the types that seem that would be ok to share Itsumi, so it would be too out of character and feel too forced for me.
But then again, theres was countless ways so to solve this differently during the entire chapter yet this is were it went, so...

I want the scene where she vomits to be the first thing you see at 0:00 when starting the episode vomit bursting out of her ears and shit with 0 context at all, other than the last episode left you on the confession cliffhanger of chap 51, and 4 seconds after that, it immediately cuts to the opening with bumpy cheerful music
if they don't be 300% mememaxxing the fuck out of the anime I straight up don't want it

also the first scene where rin does her signature run up double knee downsmash with the blood and everything needs to be rotoscoped from some WWE shit, because it's funnier.
