I wonder when he'll realize that he's a vampire... Maybe he'll bring him garlic before that, that would be fun :wooow:
last sub-chapter he literally asked the doctor why he lives at night and covers all mirrors and has so many bats around. So Yoishi went from "oh this guy is a vampire one hundred percent" straight to "oh wow the doctor was acting kind of weird guess that's just how he is"

'Can I eat it?', he says, as soon as some new plant is mentioned. :pacman:
Eating something that gave you stomach issues actually can be difficult because of a defense mechanism called Conditioned Taste Aversion. You find that food's taste and smell repulsive even if you didn't mind it before, and it takes some effort to get over it.

So he actually is a vampire. I guess he feeds off of his clients by extracting their blood for "medical testing purposes". Although, it might just be how he diagnoses people too.

Isekai IBS :korone:

Interesting solve. The implications of a dilute calamity extract having an effect are myriad, not just on food but on the entire world in general.

Now, what would be really funny if the lost flowers were originally meant to be a romantic gift. There's a bit of subtext the daughter knew where they came from :lul:

Re: Fugu/Pufferfish. No, Yoshi, people thought it tasted so damn good and keep eating it even after knowing someone dropped dead because of it, and the shogun had to ban the fish from consumption to prevent that kind of stupid death from happening. Eventually someone figured out how to prepare it safely (probably the common citizens who aren't restricted, because the ban was only for the upper class samurai).

I mean, as explained in the manga allergic reaction is caused by an otherwise-healthy immune system overreacting. So if all standard person get sick from those peaches and the solution to fix that is to lower your immune system, that means that only people who have weaker immune system (i.e. sickly people) would be naturally resistant against the effects.
