At first I thought you may are not aware what you are doing (sniping), but this attitude seems to indicate otherwise.

At my knowledge the usual etiquette is translating a manga (seemingly) abandoned for 3 months or more, or else you will be branded as a sniper.

Sniping is usually looked down hard, by both scanlators and readers, especially when the sniper produces an inferior quality.

You are free to translate manga, but don't be surprised when you receive negative feedback, if you snipe.

And I will remove them when Toru scans comes back.

No, you don't need to delete them, they will attest the quality of your work in the future.

If you recall, last chapter Sieg and Dias became Immortal Ruler (kana exactly that)

"King of the Undead" here, even though the furigana is still there (I checked the RAW)
I don't know about you but for me failing to recognize the furigana is a gigantic red flag.
