God I'm not ready for Soe to feel betrayed. I quite like their relationship here. I do hope it can be resolved. I mean i think explanation about about why he doing this should work.

However...the manager actually good advice. i didn't think she was capable of that to be honest. She is affirming the path Yoil going down and helping her see that the other people's comments come from there own expectations of her. Also the fact that she lives in industry that expects certain things from her and to succeed she will have to meet those.

While I do like cool Yoil. I also dig her attempts to be more feminine. I mean she looked cute with the lip tint. Honestly, she is a little more confidant she could be an sort of fem fatale. I want to see her trying out more feminine outfits or feminine mannerism.

Honestly, maybe keeping the cool concept but with feminine mannerism/clothing would be best. I don't want her forgo that part of her.

Sangyun is coming back v soon, his impromptu cover story being made official. So there's ample tension stemming from that! If Sanghyun is coming back, you know who else will to? Iruha-bros we are SOOOOO fucking back. 13 weeks without her has been so tiresome!

People are twisting and pulling at her end on how she should act and behave, its up to the MC on what path they should take will he follow lee ruha's footsteps at fully committing to the stage persona that was foisted upon her by others. Or will she choose to keep to never truly forget the person that she was before. just like mooyiung, not caring what people thinks she should act. Or will she choose to keep to never truly forget the person that she was before. just like mooyiung, not caring what people thinks she should act

She really needs someone that can listen and give advice untethered from ulterior business motive/sense of the corp execs. even if the advice they gave (the corps) are genuine and honest. Producer-san and Manager Han are really giving their best at consoling MC, both has reasonable though conflicting viewpoints on how MC should take her personality, how she behaves and acts. But it's best to heed advices from other sources too, one not mired by money.
I mean we haven't seen his brother yet. Maybe he would help him out or his granny who seems to know more about it. Considering she warned him about at the beginning of the story.

I think Seoyong will be like: "Oh Soae do you know this girl?" Soea definitely say yes then introduce her to Yoil as a senior in highschool. Then only some small talk and Seoyong suspect abit.

Nothing likely to happen till after the end of month evaluation when soae and seoyong try to drag both Yoil and Sanghuyn to the karaoke, Or seeing Yoil sings like that reminds Seoyong about SangHuyn. But previous end of month evaluation from c14 to c44, and 2nd time will took less chapter but we strart at 56 and now only 60 =>10+ chapters later guys, get yourself ready.

I think the best thing/s that could happen to him are,
1. Him choosing to tell Soae who he is, and why he's doing this.

2. Soae telling him he's always been good enough, both as a person and as a talent.
And that (basically) he was screwed over by the bullying crap, and the industry weighing looks too much over talent.

I'm hoping he realises he can just be himself while out of the spotlight, regardless of body. And he can then be confident to just perfect his act he wants to show on stage.

All of this imo of course haha

I haven't been so invested into a gender bender since Boku girl.
For me it was Ranma 1/2...I think because its the first manga I ever read it may have affected my tastes.

Boku Girl was good too alot of TS series run out of ideas aay to fast especially school slice of life, onimai manages to keep going with it but also time progresses alloing new events.

This series is also one of the few that shows the character really struggle with hormonal effects on the mind, its subtle but you can see things like Yoil suddenly wanting sweets while running and getting upset easier in the chapter named Hormone Rush.

The thing I like about this series is the very natural tension it creates, I swear I can hear a drum beat getting faster each chapter after a cymbol crash.

Lee Ruha, Gongwon...Soae next?

I feel sorry for Yoil she finally decided to throw away her old identity and it feels like manager Han, wants to use Kim Sanghyun to hide Yoil, even though she's finally started to accept herself as Yoil.

I don't think Yoil is getting unnecessarily confused, she's getting hit with a lot of expectations from different people.

Though PD and Mooyoung are right Yoil is super cool with her hot head, maybe Sanghyuns fiery personality didn't work for him, but when he's Yoil it comes off as fierce, its a bit of a gender discrepancy in what is attractive however and that is adding to her confusion.

I’ve read and watched plenty of gender‑bender stories, but this series, Ranma 1/2, and This Alluring Dark Elf Has the Heart of a Middle‑Aged Man are the ones that really stand out for putting a unique spin on the concept. The latter leans more toward isekai and the gender‑bend aspect feels secondary, but Haruka is so different and fresh from most TS protagonists that it deserves a mention.

What sets these apart is that they actually have a clear narrative instead of relying on fanservice or random slice‑of‑life moments. Don't get me wrong, I still love those and I don't mind fanservice all that much but a lot of other gender‑bender works feel like “cute genderswap character doing random cute things,” without much structure.

Onimai comes close to the previously mentioned , but there are many moments where not much happens narratively, and the fanservice can feel unnecessary.

The alluring Dark elf has the heart of a middle aged man is a great series, especially because it goes through the motions of not being okay with killing living creatures in an isekai she doesnt want to kill.

I think those series show that characterisation of the MC and the psychological effect of the change on gender and environment are really important to getting a good story.

The musk dynasty are was the best arc in Ranma 1/2 because of the emotional impact on the characters.

If Sanghyun got stuck as Yoil and was unable to turn back who knows that effect, even though he said he wasn't going to return to his former self he knows he can. If he lost Sanghyun he might struggle even more with his identity.

it's confirmed the reason of why mooyoung is so pissed towards yoil, well that aside soae finally becoming a real heroine? and seems like someone predictions are on the spot regarding sanghyun's identity...i just hope they don't make him die or something, better to make him as the staff there.

yuri everywhere :)
Hey btw, is there a way to connect a forum to the new chapter (chapter 61) so we can comment on it or use the old forum at least? Thanks so much for the chapter upload!
