Welcome Cool Yoil. also Bitch A tantrum next episode? lil Hayan and Unnie sorry I forgot her name(Red haired kind older girl), have it hard next episode.
Manager Han is projecting onto Yoil and wants her to be as her ideal daughter. But PD had better judgement regarding idol stuff.Deep down Sanghyun respects Iruha, it was also because of her during the last monthly evaluation he actually showed the idol he could be.
And the PD was right that idol is better.
If only Iruha could have told Han Yoil she was impressive then, it would have saved alot of drama.
But then would we have got Yoil struggling with her sense of identity and what kinda idol she should be.
I love how seemingly subtle moments in this series cascade. checkovs gun is on full auto, and that's good writing ✍️ 👌 👍.
the end card is really
Jet Black Wings vs Dark reunion
I think Kim Yoil is much better nameIt looks like Han Sanghyun has been born thanks to Soae, the cool Unnie who isn't afraid to dress up for attention. Realising Sanghyun was actually better then she thought.
I actually want to know what happened to her in the past that her personality become that. From the context we got probably because someone get something that she work hard on because of inside connectionThe adorable bunny rabbit looking sad is not cool, someone needs to snap at Bitch A.
I kinda like Yuri though after discovering she's just like that too everyone and even felt sorry for the way Mooyoung was treating Yoil.
Depends on if they used the porta earrings or fusion dance.I think Kim Yoil is much better name
Agreed, that's a perfect quote for the moral of this chapter. While Sanghyun worries about changing into someone he's not, he had changed in the past too. His bitter, depressed self from the beginning on the series was already the result of a (negative) transformation. He must remember his younger and more optimistic self to know who he wants to be.You know, this chapter reminded me of this quote
Oh. Shit. I think we might see that going back to that girl band he took inspiration from earlier in the series.Great for Soae. Even with those dark (and 100% right) suspicions about Yoil, she was caring and supportive, and said exactly what Sanghyun needed to hear.

Plus more girls nights with other girls. Since that will show off fish out of water siutations.

GOd. There is so many foils. This is so tightly written. How does the creator do this?So-ae is finally fleshed out in this chapter, we actually get some background on how she was a really shy and nervous gal before she became the girl she is now. this is just conjecture but it seems her looks influences her environment and people around her into pushing her (then a nervous, shy, and introverted girl.) her into an idol with all the personality that entails into being an idol.
She's a really good foil to Iruha I think, an anti-iruha so to speak. they are both pushed by people around her to become someone they really aren't, foisting their dreams and intentions of how they should act onto them. Iruha completely fell into this and spiraled out, wholly internalizing those expectations of other people on how she should act and being miserable out of it. Sure, While So-ae (is it So-ae or Soae shrugs) does become an idol trainee in the end. She however chooses so on her own terms, you can still see traces of the old So-ae, the shy introverted wallflower she was in her current self.
You can't say the same to Iruha and her past self. We don't get much, but it seems her environment and the people around her are way bleaker than so-ae's there's no "Sanghyun" for her to lean towards, and her being in a show makes the producers and execs push her 10x more. the barest thing we get from her past pre-idol self is that she was a wallflower without any friends, and thus no social net to fall on.?
The WHAT really bothered you?!The thong which bothered me
