I prefer the dad to still be alive so he will suffer from the aftermath: burn wounds, hatred from his surroundings, seeing his castle collapse. And Kurokawa will also suffer more seeing what he had done to his dad, and how even if his dad is still alive, none of them could do anything anymore.

Also, I hope her ex-husband will know the truth.

I am reading chapter 31.2 right now and boy
we get to see the conclusion of Mashima, Nishida and Yumeka.

Nishida still has the best possible future. Just not in track and field.

Kurokawa (and maybe Izuka) will be up next

Probably will take about 2 more weeks before I can post the last chapter
If track and field are out of the question, what else is there for her? And what of the other two?

Man I can't believe recent media keeps trying to push "Revenge bad it only creates a vicious circle" and I read this and I want to tell all the writers against revenge stories to fuck off. It's sweet and it's true closure. Imagine if this was like TLOU 2 and the teacher lets Makoto walk free after all she did.
Had to rant about it. Sakurai deserves that W and her crying did leave me in tears. Peak Conclusion

I mean tbf what happened here isn't exactly the classical revenge that media typically depicts. Revenge that's considered bad is the one that goes beyond delivering justice and causes destruction for people uninvolved in in the whole thing , for instance revenge stories where the protagonist hurts the family or friends of the person he seeks revenge on for catharsis.
In this specific story the teacher gave them the chance to give themselves in and take the punishment they deserve in accord with the law, nothing beyond that and if you look at each individual story in the manga they all dug their own graves and caused their own downfall, the trackfield girl hired a thug to attack her competition but she got attacked instead, the tall rapist dude is the one who actively targeted the teacher and assaulted her and all she did was record everything , the father and son in the last chapter literally brought down themselves by themselves, the teacher doesn't really force them to do anything, they just hurt themselves in the process of trying to hurt others that's why this story feels satisfying , the teacher isn't overly cruel or edgy either she really just let them be themselves that's why the short dude who was a bullying victim gets a happy ending since he didn't try to hurt the teacher and was trying to confess and by the end she forgives him.
