Woah. We get a good look on how Yoil sees herself and act from now on, looks like she's regained her self-confidence back and isn't afraid to talk her mind off. With her visual appearance changing from the tracksuit + sweaterpants combo we all loved to see to the current t-shirt + boypants for good, seems like she's ditching the ponytail though. I think it symbolizes her getting her self-doubt and anxiety in order. With her gaining the confidence to wear feminine stuff and outwardly presenting her feminine body, and also no longer fearing about speaking her mind, while also not going full tryhard sweatlord on going fully feminine judging from her ditching the ponytail. Something that she only forced herself to do in her strive to become more feminine. Something that Mooyoung and the rest of the trainees should be happy about.
Things are less bright for Hyojeong and Dabi tho, at least Dabi got Wonjin to lean towards. But Hyojeong? it's fucking over man fr. I didn't expect them to skip straight to the monthly eval too! I thought there was still one more arc to explore to maybe help Dabi and Hyo? or perhaps Soae finding out. But nope, they're stuck in their rut.
I do wonder though, if we ever get to touch on coffee-deprived vocalist lady apparent split act? She clearly doesn't enjoy how she treats her trainees, it's just that she can't stop herself to do so. There's probably a foil in there if I think hard enough, but there's a lot of people struggling with personas and how they present themselves in this story. MC, Lee Ruha, Soae, Suryeon, and now this trainer? But leaving that plot thread line unresolved is v realistic though, not everything can be fixed irl and a trainee has no rights to meddle in issues of a trainer. Same with Dabi and Hyo being stuck in a rock and a hard place, everyone has their own worries to worry about.
Maybe she’s just pushing them to do their best so they either make it or get out while they still have time. It’s tough—people who invest their entire youth into the entertainment industry without seeing results often struggle to transition into 'normal' jobs later on. I guess this could be her weird way of caring; she’s forcing them to either succeed as idols or cut their losses early enough to build a real career elsewhere.
Poor Hayan, she just a little girl. You don't need to be hars with a child like that, Su-ryeon.
Finally the teacher came back, the funny thing is I always read the dialogue with Aya Endo's voice because it's so perfect.
Oh! I always read her with
Yuko Kaida's voice, Mature female with composed and bit deeper voice,
Tsukuyo in Gintama and
Sylvia Sherwood in Spy x Family.
Talking about voice actors.
For Kim Sanghyeon I do with
Chiaki Kobayashi, his roles being strong young male characters bit low on confidence like
Stark in Frieren and
Ragna in Ragna Crimson.
For the Producer it is
Takehito Koyasu, his roles being
Toji,
Roswall and
DIO.
For IRUHA it is
Kana Hanazawa, She can really bring out cold elite princess while having a vulnerable side.
For Suryeon aka Bitch A it is
Marina Inoue, She can do justice towards a repressed bitch role. with her roles including
Mai Zenin from JJK and
Sodachi Oikura from Bakemonogatari.
For CEO of PLOUD it is
Katsuyuki Konishi, he can bring out a dependable elder male figure.
For Gongwon it is
Mamoru Miyano, he can do justice towards handsome male characters.
For Oh-Minji and sometimes even Yuri it is
Ayana Taketatsu, She can do justice towards bratty younger females. like
Nino from GoToubun and
Aura from Frieren.
These are someones who had a definitive voice in my head.
