Agreed. Why hasn't he already proposed to her? Why aren't they actively building their lives around each other? It's not like there were any crazy barriers to get in the way of that by the end, just that it'd be a bit inconvenient. But no, they go a whole year without seeing each other instead.

I liked this manga but damn was I waiting the whole manga for Satou to stop being so wishy-washy; it never delivered.

Very good ending. That was a good fake out there even if it was kinda obvious, but I like it how it wasn't just a gag but a set up that they picked up at the end. I actually like that the future marriage proposal was only implied, I am of the opinion marriage or pregnancy endings are overdone and kind of obvious, the way they did here was better, the subtlety of it was more elegant.
