Like I said in previous chapters, contrary to what a lot of people think, I think Nanao truly loves the mc and that she's a kind person. Sure, she would be up in the competition if Amane is discouraged and sad but she doesn't want that. She would go out of her way to lift her rival up because she knows she is also important to the mc. I'm sure she'll do the same to the others too.

Maybe she wants the others to confess to the mc and that's because she wants the mc to choose which girl makes him happy, even though he might not choose her. Also, it would perhaps strain their relationship if they started going out and mc only finds out later the other girls like him. I've seen a lot of manga where two people start going out too early and broke up.

Also maybe she's giving everyone else a chance to confess and be close to them so there will be no hard feelings if she does win.

I don't know, I just relate a lot to Nanao because she's literally like me when in love (aggressive, assertive, etc). People think she doesn't actually love the mc bt if you read again it's pretty obvious she is. Some girls just act like she does when liking someone.

It's not fun being ignorant, unable to do simple calculations when trying to get a job, for example, or having a reading/literacy level on par with middle schoolers while you're 20+.
while this is true for the general public it shouldn't matter to someone who already has a career in modeling or a job that's making quite a bit of money. even now im appalled by the literacy level of some of our celebrities much less their sense of value regarding money

I'm hoping the Lil sis will be an unreachable but supportive person, acting as a sort of undercover wingman for her bro. Kinda like tsubomi from mob psycho
The only thing is, he has a wingman in Nanao, as showcased in this chapter. Sure, she's gunning for him too, but she clearly wants to lift up the other heroines and not see them dejected and shattered.

I guess I've just read too many series where "the antagonist" ends up being the opposite and "simply misunderstood" by the main characters. I think I'd prefer an actual adversary, rather than "my family is stern but actually not bad people and they simply want what's best for me".

This is already a series that's bucking trends and tropes, so going the route of "his family--including sister--actually is toxic and dismissive and lowkey abusive of him and he has to find his own path with the help of Nanao" would be nice to see, in my individual opinion.

This is like foreshadowing who is winning the race.
I mean, Ch. 1 literally states the curtains have already been drawn. We know these ships are going to wreck, we're just here to watch it happen.

EDIT: dang it I should have labeled one of the Spartans as Inori, she's in-universe here for this, too.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting you but it almost sounds like you're arguing against your original point with that last sentence.

Nanao continues to be really suspicious to me. She's like the engine of this manga, moving not just the plot of the MC along (with her rather bold flirting) but now also the arcs of her rivals. Sure, she can come up with valid reasons for doing so, but I can't help but think that such a central character will have motivations going way beyond what she admits.

you're misunderstanding. my point is that if you already have a job that's making you money school is kinda pointless. the statement regarding certain celebs not being the brightest of people is to backup how school didn't really matter for them

Who else is willing to bet that his parents (or someone else) purposefully sabotaged his project to make it crash and burn?

So it's partly the MC's fault that she fell for him. He was showing her love and favoritism, giving her high hope, making her think she has a chance. So it circles back to the MC being dense

Shouldn't, but again, there is literally no harm in building up that foundation. It prevents that lack of sense, so it's a net positive.
