a lot. i generally just don't want to be seen or heard. i don't want you looking at what i'm looking at on my phone. same with my PC. i don't want you looking at me when i'm not wearing my Sunday best. i don't want you to sit on your porch or in your garage with the door open drinking beers. i don't want to say hi to you when i leave the house. i don't want you to hear me talking on the phone or on a Discord call. i don't want you to hear when i go up or down the stairs. i don't want you to hear anything i do in the bathroom. i don't want you asking what's in the package i ordered on amazon. i don't want you to see me taking out the trash or walking to my car. i don't want you knowing what food i eat or what music i'm listening to. i don't want you looking through my car window, especially when i'm in it. i don't want you walking near my car and hearing the muffled sounds of music from inside.

that being said, i'm not super schizo about it or anything

i think we both grew up in the same type of household as im in the same boat as you..

IRL: just the bare minimum amount of info about me is known to even my "friends" I rarely talks anyways
In the internet: convenience>digital privacy. also I do quite a lot of venting for some reason

I would also choose to be a cat; I get to lie around all day, sometimes take down a bug, get food and pats; the worst thing would be the vet. Nice life.

I don't let it grow over three inches because that would be too troublesome so I get it cut every few months.
But if you wanna get scientific then:

Cut is more hygeinic, easier to keep clean and less susceptible to infections and some STIs but there's the tiny risk of an accident during the surgery and it will be slightly less sensitive and can get a little bit rough so less fun.
Uncut can be more moist, sensitive, no risk of surgical accidents but has a higher chance of infection.
