Man, the switch-up on Lily's character is insane. I am not against it, mind you, I just think it's cheap when she was introduced as a bloodthirsty sadistic psycho who beheads and plants magical bombs into people she knows are weaker than her, but suddenly she is cracking jokes and being self-sacrificial for a person she only knows as a (former) enemy at best.
And I may get heat for it but I will say it: the more they establish Lienna as this OP, the less the premise of the story makes any sense. You can't convince me that she is this strong, so strong as to be single-handedly a deterent to invasion by foreign states, yet at the same time this disrespected by her organization. If the power level gap between her and her subordinates (not to mention the average soldier) is this large and the ones in charge are aware of it, there is no reality where she wouldn't be constantly pampered and monitored.
Like, what if she defects? What if she turns against you? What if she quits? What if (like in this story) she disappears through weird circumstances? And if she is this overwhelmingly strong, why is she not being used for their own designs? Why is her nation not waging war and attempting to invade others if they have such a supreme advantage?
it's not strange, lily just know that lienna is a knight but lienna help her, so not an ennemy for now, lienna doesn't know that lilly has killed her subordonate, or she will be the one that will be one punched in the face.
more over, lilly is not the one that put the magical bomber, she just get one as a kamikaze soldier.
lienna is not really disrespected by her organisation aka kingdom/state, maybe the soldier, but not the state, she is the knight commander, not the op janitor.
why her nation not waging war ? because she is not one punch man, there are over big fish in the pond, like the brother of amon or the elf, potentially there will be other people too, moreover, war cost ressource, and even a big country that is powerfull can be struck by a more stuborn stone nation.
