FINALLY! I've been waiting for her to show off her competence, because she really couldn't shine whilst next to another super human like herself. So far, she's come across as weak and daft (well, maybe she is daft, haha), but we know based on the fact that she alone was the deciding factor on whether or not her country was invaded, that she must have been very strong and talented.
It's just nice to finally see a little bit of that. :meguu:

I was wondering about how strong she was. I remember the manga mentioning she was one of the main reasons their country had not been invaded, but it had yet to be shown how strong she was (if at all).

This also raises the question that if she is really that strong, why did they have her doing desk work?
My take is she's like a hydrogen bomb in a world of peace. Just collecting dust since nobody was stupid enough to risk having her thrown at them.

Alternatively, being in the dragon might be super buffing her and amon into demi-gods

Heh, the title of Knight-Commander is not for show after all.
Now a food for thought: If she is this strong, what if Lienna was there when those squad attacked the knights?

Lily's about to learn that Amon isn't the only powerful person relaxing in the dragon's stomach :meguupog:
You better be proud of your adoptive parents. Love to see her immediately (trying to) save Lienna though, she let go of her hostility really fast...

But she still has a lot to learn when it comes to the mentality of a dragon stomach dweller...

Thanks for the upload!

Man, the switch-up on Lily's character is insane. I am not against it, mind you, I just think it's cheap when she was introduced as a bloodthirsty sadistic psycho who beheads and plants magical bombs into people she knows are weaker than her, but suddenly she is cracking jokes and being self-sacrificial for a person she only knows as a (former) enemy at best.

And I may get heat for it but I will say it: the more they establish Lienna as this OP, the less the premise of the story makes any sense. You can't convince me that she is this strong, so strong as to be single-handedly a deterent to invasion by foreign states, yet at the same time this disrespected by her organization. If the power level gap between her and her subordinates (not to mention the average soldier) is this large and the ones in charge are aware of it, there is no reality where she wouldn't be constantly pampered and monitored.

Like, what if she defects? What if she turns against you? What if she quits? What if (like in this story) she disappears through weird circumstances? And if she is this overwhelmingly strong, why is she not being used for their own designs? Why is her nation not waging war and attempting to invade others if they have such a supreme advantage?

Man I don't know, because the world is more complicated than who has a bigger stick? Because dominance for dominance's sake isn't always desirable? I would think with current real world events being the way they are now, more people would realize this.

Even if you assume the country were of such a philosophy, how many places can the knight-commander be at once? How many ordinary knights and villagers must suffer? We already see this when the deterrent is gone.

it's not strange, lily just know that lienna is a knight but lienna help her, so not an ennemy for now, lienna doesn't know that lilly has killed her subordonate, or she will be the one that will be one punched in the face.

more over, lilly is not the one that put the magical bomber, she just get one as a kamikaze soldier.

lienna is not really disrespected by her organisation aka kingdom/state, maybe the soldier, but not the state, she is the knight commander, not the op janitor.

why her nation not waging war ? because she is not one punch man, there are over big fish in the pond, like the brother of amon or the elf, potentially there will be other people too, moreover, war cost ressource, and even a big country that is powerfull can be struck by a more stuborn stone nation.

Silly me, I believe she's one soldier Captain who will be promoted into General, but stuck with behind-the-counter job.

No wonder her strength is this GREAT.
