Curious to see what she did to the curse to render it inert like that. I'd have to go back and read--I don't believe beastkin have the ability to do anything like that, though she also has dealings with demonkind (clearly exploitative), so maybe it's something from that side of things.

Either way......yeah. She was hanging on by a thread, and that's with everyone she's known dead and gone (again....probably her "contact"/handlers who sent her on this mission, unless I miss my guess/tropes). Her falling apart like this makes sense the moment one remembers she's a child soldier sent on a suicidal mission under the most extreme duress.

But the good news, is Beybey couldn't have found a better pair of lesbians to run into in this world, and she's already part of the family whether she knows it or not. As long as she doesn't stay up too late too often, I don't see things trending bad for her anytime soon.
