Time for BeyBey's own little redemption/adoption arc to commence (likely in the middle of some other stuff).
I suspect this news will be a shock and she might even try to run away or something--though between Evie and Elsa, I'm not worried about her getting far.
But the tie-in of rescuing a bunch of beastkin children into "time to make their community into political allies for the princess" is certainly convenient. The good thing, is I suspect Circe isn't looking to exploit the beastkin as other humans do, and with Evie's "gentle" guidance, could even campaign on codifying protections and legal equality for beastkin and improve both their position within the kingdom, and relations between them and humans. Obviously a long-term thing, but having a candidate for the throne who is sympathetic but also actively invested in creating further harmony and unity among the totality of her subjects is a boon for the nation as a whole.
The Curse resurfacing will hopefully not be kept from Elsa for too much longer, as the longer Evie hides it, the more she lies to Elsa (which, Bad).
But, whether it's a new iteration of the old curse that Elsa suffered from, or if it's the System coming back into play to fuck with their newfound happiness, will remain to be seen--though if it's the latter, then hopefully getting Circe on-track to become queen represents a potent-enough shift from "the rails" of the world's base setting that it'll disrupt the System and maybe alleviate these symptoms.
Plus, there's likely a lot of little things that Evie and Elsa can do to push the world off-script even more, and between BeyBey, Circe, the magical tool business, and helping the Demon King solve her side of things, I expect plenty of ammunition against the System is sitting around, at this point.
Thanks for the TL as always.
