I like the fight scnes from this manga. It’s easy to follow and the actions aren’t stiff. Usually, the transitions between actions are sacrificed to add dynamics to the fight choreography which sometimes make it harder to follow the fight (just like when hollywood add multiple camera angles of the same sequences).

well the anime is based on the Light Novel, not the manga, the manga is an adaptation of the Light Novel too, but it has some different elements on the story and adds more characters too

Seems to be healing magic, similar to the nun, but yeah not sure if he could managed to heal him fully before droping him, they've shown they can heal pretty fast
