I assume something probably didn't carry over in the translation, but it's a bit comical for MC to order "firefruit juice" and then get surprised that he's drinking fruit juice.

Something is wrong with the continuity - a time paradox.
On page 7 (panel 4) Mrs Saphir says "during my pregnancy, that painting", while looking at the angel happiness MC did, but when it was requested in chapter 23, page 26, Mr Saphir "my newborn child". It was finished and handed over in chapter 28.
At least 2 months / 60 days have passed since chapter 23.
This chapter implies the wife has just recently given birth, and while 2mo old baby could fit that, I believe its less like 1-2 weeks max.
