Oh man, I was reading the WN of this until the author's output dropped off hard. She pumped out like 50 chapters back in 2024, but since then has only put out like... 10 chapters or something, which I never even bothered reading.

I never looked into the reason for it, but I imagine it was because of all the other projects she has going on. (Her Amazing Digital Circus manga, being the artist for the OP teacher witch manga, illustration-related work etc etc)

As I recall, one the harem members is

a "fake" harem member, she is basically using the playboy to get close to the MC because the sister of the playboy is guarding the MC against potential rivals, slowly trying to get closer to her real target (and gathering information and patterns too IIRC). It's basically a love triangle later with a couple of crazies (a yandere and a stalker). She's already shown pretty early here, one the girls gathered around the harem guy in one of the panels. Anyway spoiler ends here.
