there is still a chance. she already liked mithra but her position (or ambition or even requirements set by her father) is blocking her from pursuing a relationship with Mithra.

Mithra is from a family of high ranking priests, so he would be well off and of considerable influence. IF he decide to lean from that angle, he can ask the temple to stop harassing Rembrandt for some brownie points.

IF mithra ends up as an adventurer alongside Jin and worked with Kuzunoha(Makoto's) Company, his chances will improve dramatically considering most if not ALL that joined (or forced into) the company will be whipped into shape by Tomoe, Mio, Komoe and Shiki.

And Rembrandt is particularly lenient (or owned a great deal of debt with) Makoto, if the MC willing to vouch for Mithra when he propose to Yuno.

Not at all. She's (apparently) being honest with him. She just said "I like you, but it won't work because of other marriage considerations." That would be a very good time for a guy to pull out (and without having wasted time on something unobtainable).

And he's made it clear that he's serious. So she's gunning for Makoto, but there's now a route for her to be swayed from that path for a man who is reliable and serious about her.

Aren't there the other two princess sisters who are from the fallen country, one works in a bar and the other in a library? If they go more than just Tomoe and Mio they are possible. Im also kind of curious if the other girls from his original world come into play, because it was my understanding at least one liked him.

And then there is root, who is basically immortal as is makato so thats also possible.

Eh, they are their parents' daughters. It's one and the same for them. In fact, all in all, this series has built a fitting mentality well enough, that romance isn't everything there is to a marriage. Makoto's asexuality and disinterest in romance is often overshadowing the other characters' desires, especially reciprocated ones. When we are used to watching a whole bunch of females being interested in Makoto, yet Makoto gives them absolutely nothing in return, it may make it more difficult to notice anything going on between other characters where Makoto isn't involved at all. Stories revolve around the main character, after all.

Makoto isn't asexual tho, he clearly has a thing for his ex-captain of archery, who got transported as one of the heroes of the Empire.

I might need to reread this series, as I have forgotten, but does he even know she's present in this universe? If he knows, he's certainly not chasing her. So, not much effort spent there. You could say he's eternally faithful to his crush, but if he's doing nothing about it, it still does make him asexual in practice. If he gave up, for whatever reason, and started to consider the other potential women actually within reach, it would be a different thing. But if he feels no desire to do it, instead just remaining faithful to an idea in his head, it makes him asexual for all intents and purposes. I mean, we don't really see him having too much romantic or erotic urges in general, either. His only interests are his business and domain, plus those he considers his friends/allies. It has been noted in the series itself that he doesn't give a shit about anyone else, no matter how beautiful a hyuman or demi-human.

There were tiny bits of hints in the previous chapters. Mithra has an exceptionally good teamwork with Yuno during their combat exercise and he acts pretty gentlemanly towards Yuno within their daily life.

mitra always was on the fence about religion ever sinds he took raido`s classes. and eventually decided to not follow the path his parents wanted.

yuno though, confessed after their parties faced a death battle. as mitra is quite the catch as. he is mild mannered but capable. and has no connections/ ties. which also means no obligations.

so this part ties with the original outcome. as a for shadow. a more natural outcome rather than a sudden one caused by facing death and feeling that life is short.

I think those was supposed to be their fight against the small dragon in the past. I kind of remember there is some nuance in it or it was my memory that tricked me that mithra already did that before

But I'm pretty sure they have ZERO chances. Makoto already has Tomoe and Mio, I sincerely doubt anyone else will be added.

I don't really like the sudden romance drama twist, and I prefer when the girls that love a MC keep that feeling, as Tsuki will embrace the harem path one of the girls going for him getting excluded feels wrong, take them all mothafucka.
If it was plot to give the kid some motivation to become stornge rI feel like they could have done better.
I don't remember this in the WN, didn't read it in years but seems like one of the things added.

I am not reading the wn myself. But i remember someone mentioned this in the comments in the previous chapters. If people surprised about this, i think this is just a case when it's not properly explained from the wn source and the manga followed the same problem too

It was noted that makoto already has a harem potential in his previous life. One of them is the one who got reincarnated as the hero. One of the other is only the similar face. Remember makoto was always have difficult time to look at the girl that have similar face. I forgot her name. But because of that, makoto unconsciously doing extra effort to support her and her adventurer's group. This is before he met Rembrandt. I think this enough to not make him asexual. The hyuman in this world mostly doing bad impression for makoto during their first time meeting so it's pretty reasonable he got bad impression to not have attraction to them anymore
