MC met doppelgangers of the one that confessed to him, Hasegawa's (the junior) look-a-like is the A rank Adventurer Toa and Azuma's (the captain) look-a-like is the girl MC helped when he was in-transit to Rostgard.

I didn't realize the girl with the werewolf ally was her. Must be because the anime didn't include the image of Azuma.

The level system was designed to rate level based on species. It's just that most species level up at similar rates, though not all. The bug, for example, is level 16. Athena is... 32, iirc?

I know who she generally is Just curious what she will do in this story. I hope the deities will play more role in the story. Even Tsukiyomi only shows up in the beginning then never again be seen. Glad to know Athena will show up I guess.

No, this level system has no buff or anything. It's just a system that Root made when he heard about RPG game from his husband (Back when he was a she). And you know back then, retro RPG played on something like NES or super old program which the max value is only 65536. Which means Makoto's level is even above that. One thing Root doesn't understand is that his level should appear as "Error", not 1. So this is something like a bug of the level system.

Right after the battle at the fortress, which is after current anime end. The three gods have some business with the goddess of this world and decide to visit Makoto while they're here (The goddess illegaly abduct 2 residents from Earth without Earth gods'sconsent. Athena is one them. They won't have direct involvement in the story, but they will leave some gifts for him. Susanoo heal his body and help him hide his realm from the goddess's eyes. Daikokuten let him see some of his other versions in paraelle world. Athena planned to give him some gears, but decide it's not fit for him.
As for Tsukuyomi, he has already asleep like he told in chapter 1 and won't meet Makoto again in his lifetime

The same goddess as from Earth. She hates the bug, and so shows up with a couple other gods and ends up helping Makoto with training. Doesn't do much else, at least as far as I know, because the author stopped updating the WN at that point (for quite some time).

Actually it did.

In Episode 2 of Season 1, there is a scene were Tomoe was checking Makoto's memories, and she left the room with those memories still floating around (between 11:22 to 11:27 of the episode).

And in one of those memory clouds that Tomoe left behind, we see Azuma.
Its quite clear that's Azuma, as it matches her Manga design.
