I interpret what's being said as a distaste for the "temporary" excuse being given. That it's a chore, not a life choice.

Which is why he calls him out as a chrysalis. He sees it as inauthentic living. The fact that he's honed in and confronting that harsh truth is how i got to the force conclusion.

Cause he kinda showed up specifically to cause these problems on purpose.

Ignoring that he does literally say "so you're doing it against your own will" before beginning his rant, (thus proving that the issue is consent, not duration) I still think that what you're describing is a very different thing from "forcefem," a fetish term with a pretty specific definition.

This chapter was quite a shakeup, and I will wait to see where it goes, whether that’s the “oops all crossdressing and no trans people” route which I’ll still read and suffer through for the barest particles of transfemininity or whether the author actually has this develop beyond that (highly unlikely).

The chrysalis and butterfly symbolism does feel… very reminiscent of an egg cracking in terms of metaphor, though it does feel somewhat misplaced in the story. Overall a very mixed bag of a chapter.

Aki’s character is also very strange, as typically the “crossdresser” who does as they please and is cute no matter what due to immense self assuredness would be shunned. Or at least that’s what I think would be a more interesting plot beat. Ah well.

In another setting they might, but this classroom is already well used to having Ui around by now so I imagine they think little of it.

Doesn't Aki feel a bit like a Deus Ex Machina to force the main plot forward?

He's perfect in everything we saw him in, he can see through people like he's batman with prep time+with mind reading powers...
He's so cute no one stops him from doing whatever he wants, he's so cool no one is angry at him for being cute, when someone gets angry at him it's because they were stupid in the first place and he deals with them in literal seconds.
Something is just not right here.

This character seems so much out of place, like an eldritch horror that walked out of his own dimension to step into ours, just so he can have some fun. It almost feels creepy how he moves between all the characters, like he owns the world, like nothing can stop him, because he is in control, he will always be in control, he wants to be in control.

Aki seems like he doesn't belong here
Like he shouldn't be here right now, at least not the way he is.
