I know this may be just me, but them losing genuinely ruined that arc completely for me. I hate that trope so much, and im probably gonna end up skimming past some stuff now cause anytime they bring it up its gonna make me annoyed. they deserved a win here, them losing has added nothing ans only takes away what waa a fun arc.
